Bharti Airtel, the world’s 5th largest telecom company in terms of subscribers has signed an IT outsourcing deal with Avaya covering the 20 countries where it has mobile facilities and services. This means Avaya becomes Bharti’s second partner after IBM. However, the two companies would not reveal the value of the contract.
The five-year outsourcing deal focuses on Avaya operating and managing the IT requirements of Airtel’s Business Process Outsourcing partners across 80 locations around the world.
