As Australia makes its way to an NBN project, and the US company Dish plans to offer nationwide satellite broadband services, Ireland too, is looking at connecting the country with high-speed Internet connection. With speeds of 70 to 100 mbps, Ireland’s Communications Minister, Pat Rabbitte, half of the country’s population will enjoy the services, and the speeds would apply to both residential and commercial users.
